Discus buffer

Seachems discus buffer, can it be safely used in shrimp tanks to lower ph?

The buffer for Discus from Seachem has Phosphorus in it. There is another buffer available without it, but I have not tried it and cannot tell you if it is safe. But I think more natual methods are much better as the shrimp definately respond better.
Yea for sure, was just curious. taking some tank water to get tested.. Finally breaking down and doing it just to see where my water values are.

I used it when i first started with my PFRS, and never had any issues besides it raising TDS. I have a friend here who uses it in his CRS tanks and no issues

hmm good to know! I will probably be shocked to see my water parameters

I would be curious how well it would work in a tank with neutral substrate. Anyone using this method with success that is willing to share?
Shoot I may just try it, white pfs or black diamond...
