I wanted to ask this question on breeding. My cousin gave me 9 discus because he is gettin a reef tank. The discus are all adults. They were laying eggs everyweek until he went on vacation. He came home late because of that snow storm in colorado and my aunt didnt feed the discus. Well one of them died when he came home, since then they havent lay any eggs. When I brought them home I notice they did have odd behaviors kinda like they bout to mate but no luck. Is it because the ones left are all females or males? If so Im going to go buy a mate for it. Can you guys give me any suggestions.

How long did they go without food and how long have you had them in your presence?

I only had them for like a month now, but my cousin told me they havent laid eggs since that one died.
