Hi does any one have any tips for cleaning plants after a filter has splurted gunk everywhere? thanks

Siphon the gunk off the plants.

Turkey Baster works too, if you want to keep the stuff in your tank (thinking it might be some type of silt).

Just put your arm in and gently wave a couple of times. No need to be precious lol

cheers guys ended up doing a water change and siphoning the fresh water on to the leaves with some airline tubing and worked a treat
