When my 10g was dirted I just dosed regular EI ferts. Great growth and very little algae with CO2.

I add various chemicals in small amounts almost daily. Basically EI but reduced by a quite a large amount.

KNO3,KH2PO4,CSM+B.
Three low tech ,NON CO2 tanks.

80 gal tank = 3X 32 watt T8 bulbs on timer for eight hours.They stopped making the aqueon triple tube fixture I am using I understand?
55 gal = One 32 watt T8 bulb on timer for ten hour's a day. This tank hold's mostly cutting's from 80 gal.Crypt's, anubia,val's,floating pennywort,water sprite.
29 gal = 2 X 17 watt T8 bulb's on timer for eight hour's. This tank hold's same plant's as other's, but also houses cherry shrimp and cardinal tetra's.
