So they were labeled as Crypt lutea, and when I planted them a year ago, thats what they looked like. A few months ago, I broke up one of the bigger plants and replanted some portions. They are growing now , but they look like a completely different crypt. It doesn’t bother me but I was just wondering how that is. The brownish crypt is the new growth and the much greener one is what they looked like when I got them.
The browner stem that has a varrigated look is completely new growth that emerged from the substrate. I am not sure if I made that clear.
