Both list the Fabco needle valve so no they're the same.

EDIT
Lookin at it again I'm thinking the cheaper one has a lesser fabco needle valve? Only difference I see between the two is the needle valve listing on being just a "Fabco" and the other being "A super precise fabco". So not to sure

No, they aren't. Notice the white knob on the Primo.

Read the specs closely.

The Primo says that it has the Fabco NV-55. That is a very good needle valve.

so the choice regulator has a lower quality fabco needle valve?
I always thought they both used Fabco NV55's, but I guess I was wrong.

I'm not sure what needle valve the Choice uses, but the Prime's NV55 is definitely a good needle valve.

I bought one of those other Fabco needle valves. It's like a brass colored Clippard or something like that.

Go with the FV-55, Ideal, etc and you won't regret it.

Hi folks,

Both are Fabco valves, and both are custom made for us by Fabco. We are fortunate enough to have Fabco as our neighbor and we work with the chief engineer and station 16 to have our valves perform just the way we like them to.

You cant go wrong with either valve, both will offer precise adjustment that stays put.

If you have any other questions please feel free to email us at [email protected]

Regards,
Orlando
