EDIT: The shrimp i thought were amanos are actually : http://www.planetinverts.com/Neocaridina_Heteropoda.html

A little background info, A month ago I added 3 Amano shrimps to my ADA 60-P, these were extras from the 5 I added to one of my other tanks. A couple of weeks later I saw one amano female carrying eggs, I didnt think much about it knowing that amanos cannot breed in freshwater.

Today (~ 3 weeks later) I saw 2 tiny babies in the tank, they definitely look like amano babies, I have no other shrimp in the tank except the 3 amano's I added originally,

I have not added any plants/moss to the tank in the past 8 weeks, so the question of something having made it from the outside is completely ruled out.

Here are two videos I took as soon as I saw them, halfway through the first video you will see their sizes in comparison to a needle that I was using to feed the fish, a little later I target fed some daphnia. they are soo tiny that the daphnia looks like big flakes in comparison.

The second video cuts out midway, my lights were on a timer and they cut off.

100% not Amanos. Chances are your adults aren't Amanos either. We need detailed pictures; a clear picture is better than even a slightly shaky video

definitely Neos. if they arent yellow (cant tell from pic but yellows usually dont have dark markings and stripes) then these are either wild type cherries or very low grade chocolate cherries. I have chocos that look like that. they're just low grade, clear and have dark markings on their body.

1:50 in the second video - not an amano. its Neocaridina heteropoda. Amanos are huge compared to these.
