Hi folks,
Tank is 4 months old and getting a bloom of the brown diatoms - I know it's diatoms because it feels grainy and comes out easily from glass and ornaments.
Nitrates level are low, but phosphates are a bit on the higher end, so I'm using some Seachem Phosgard to bring the level down. I'm doing frequent water changes as well.
Question: Would the diatoms eventually disappear from the rocks/substrate on its own, or do I need to pull all the rocks out and clean manually?
Thank you
