So I have a mild amount of diatoms in my 10 gal low tech tank. I just tested the water and nitrites, nitrates, ammonia all read 0 (last change was last Friday). Is it ok to let the algae run its course? Or should I do something else? The LFS nearby does have otos...

just let it run it's course, it should go away after a month or two. Of course ottos looooooooove this stuff, so you'd make a couple ottos very happy if you got some.
