I've been battling a fluke infestation in my goldfish for months and no medications have made much of a dent. I was wondering if anyone has had success using a diatom filter to kill flukes. I'm at my wits end with these gill flukes and think it may be best to euthanize soon. I just learned about the existence of diatom filters from a recent thread here and thought I'd ask in a last ditch effort to save her. Thanks in advance.

If you have been battling the problem for a while, give a vet a call, most should be able to give you some advice or a prescription for more serious medicine than you'd find in the pet shop.

Have you tried prazipro?, its quite expensive. You need to dose twice, 5 days apart to get all the eggs in the tank that can hatch after initial treatment.
