Detailed scalare Angel fish care

I am looking for information on how to grow p. Scalare Angel fish to a large size. What are the food requirements, water change schedule, etc.

Is discus bio gold and Freeze dried Australian black worms a good staple diet for them?

I am an experienced Angel fish keeper but I think there is much more to learn.

Thanks.

Feed a variety of quality food, maintain regular and frequent water changes to keep water good water quality, keep with tankmates that are compatible, and provide a comfortably scaped home for them.

Same as any other fish.

Thanks Mark. I know that site. I think this is your thread isn't it?

That's been one of my inspirations.

How many times a day do you feed? Is there a fast once a week?
Angelfish really respond to water changes.I've raised many angelfish on frozen brine shrimp.Bloodworms work well too,I think they are probably more nutritious. When I was breeding them,I'd feed juvenile brine shrimp in the morning and flake in the afternoon, and do large water changes weekly if not twice a week, plus give em lots of room.

For fry,I did 2 small water changes a day,to vacuum up leftover newly brine shrimp, which I would feed twice per day.

Also, they really like peat in a filter,it sort of imitates the rain water that would flow into their natural environment.

That's what always worked for me.But that was 30 years ago,and there's probably more and better things to do now.
I am looking for answers to this specific question please, from my original post:

I will be very grateful for any answers and guidance from angel experts.

Hikari discus, NLS community and a variety of frozen foods make up 90% of my angel's (and my other fishes') diet.
I keep a giant bag of Angels Plus' "The Works" flake in my freezer, with a smallish amount out for daily feeding. Supplement it with various other things including "what's on sale".
