This month’s meeting will be at the Ward 3 City Council meeting room. This new location will be our meeting location through the end of 2022. We look forward to meeting back indoors.

Where: 1510 E Grant Rd. Tucson AZ
The meeting room does not require masks to be worn, but attendees are welcome to wear masks if they choose.

Discussion of fish stocking
Auction

The April meeting will have a general discussion on fish stocking. We will discuss stocking ideas for various tanks different types of fish in the hobby, and answer questions from those in attendance.

Here is the Agenda for our upcoming meeting:

1. Welcome, Introductions and Membership Renewal/Sign-up
2. 10-Gallon challenge is on again for the summer! Yoga will share details and solicit suggestions from all of us.
3. Member-only Raffle - $10 gift cards to our affiliate stores. (you can become a member on the day of the meeting to participate)
4. How to Stock A Tank - A Fish Based Discussion.
5. Auction - Flora, Fauna and Equipment

Rules for the auction:

1. You are allowed a maximum of 10 items to submit for the auction.
2. Please label your items with the number (out of 10), your name, and item description if applicable.
3. Please fill out the Auction items form when you arrive.
4. If you are bringing live plants or fish, please arrange for ice packs/coolers for storage and transport. The club will have some coolers available for the duration of the meeting, but space may be limited.
5. Proceedings from the auction will be settled by cash only at the conclusion of the auction.

Club Membership

The membership fees are as follows and are valid till December 2022:

• Single Membership (Single Adult, Ages 18+) - $15
• Family Membership (Adults, Children optional) - $20
• Student Membership (Ages 8 - 17) - $10

Here are the benefits of becoming a club member:

• Vote on important club matters, including Board Member elections.
• Enter member-specific contests like the Bowl Show and the Home Show and participate in member-only raffles at each meeting.

If you are not already a member, we hope that you will consider joining our fantastic club this year.

Reminder of Club Initiatives:

• The “Breeder’s Award Program” is being rebooted to encourage our members to engage in sustainable breeding of unique fish.
• The “Classroom Aquarium Program” is being luanched where the club can potentially donate aquariums to K-12 classrooms.

Please note: We will not have a meeting in May as our usual meeting day is Mother's Day. We are, instead, encouraging our members to attend the 2022 Southwest Aquarium Keepers Event (SAKE) hosted by the Arizona Rivulin Keepers on May 14th in Sun City West, AZ. More info has been included in the April newsletter. The club will be help by organizing a carpool list. Keep an eye out for more info through our newsletter, website and Facebook page.
