This journal is being moved from the nano tank forum. This is my third attempt at a nano. I tend to overlook my nano setups since I have 2 other tanks so I am going to try and keep this low tech. Here is the progression and transformation of the tank so far. I am hoping that the moss will latch and start growing out of the crevices and grooves and eventually I will be able to trim it making much neater than it currently is. Any feedback or critiques are appreciated.
I like our scape. I would suggest attaching the moss to the wood instead. That way it can attach faster and looks cleaner. All three scape looks great.
Okay its been a while for this tank but here are some updates.
The moss is growing in well although not quite as much as I would like at the top. The bottom portion of the moss has been trimmed a few times and could use a little bit more.
I am trying something new with the back right corner of the tank. As of now a few anubias and some hair grass. I am going to let that fill in and see how it looks. I also have some ryuoh stones on the way and if they dont work out in my other tank I might use some to fill in the back.
As for fauna I added 5 blue axelrodi and about 15+ RCS which are all doing well.
