Hi every body new here, first post.
I have a plant that might be a goner. It a Hygrophila Kompact. I added this and a Red Melon Sword at the same time. I put them to close together. The swords leaves were straight up after a while they relaxed and layed down and partialy covered the Kompact. I seen it wasnt doing good so I moved it. The last couple leaves came off and hasnt shown any signs of new growth. Think its done?

Great site and love all the tank pics.

I have a 20 gal with a single t8 4200 K bulb. the PH is 7.0 .This is the only test kit I have. I had a kit with strips that checked everything but they were junk, never gave the same reading. threw them out.

I use Flourish and Flourish Potassium 2 times a week. no co2

As for the plant all the leaves are gone. If it wasnt for a little bit of the fiber, this was a potted plant, sticking out of the gravel you wouldnt know it was there.

The pots were removed when I put them in the tank. I will be starting a 75gal soon so I dont have the money into the 20 at this time. This is the only plant that died since I started adding plants about a year ago.
I agree that light was the problem since the sword was covering most of it. I've read that some people trim plants way back and the plants come back. I was hopeing mine would come back since I moved it.
