IMHO, the chances of survival of the shrimplets will be higher if you can avoid fungal infection. If there is anything decaying in their water....the chances of fungus is higher! As you know....fungus hates light, and the eggs need to have a steady flow of water. That is why the female regularly rotates her pleopods! If the unhatched shrimp are at least 2 weeks old, their chances will be better. I hope it works out. If it does not...assume the eggs were not fertilized. Shrimp often carry unfertilized eggs for up to a week!
