Good evening everyone,

Im in the procress of cycling my 12 gallon tank with a few guppies and currently have purigen in the HOB Filter basket.

Curious if anyone ever used it during a cycle? I read conflicting reports that it could hurt the cycle process and other it doesnt make a difference. Can someone confirm for me?

Also how do you guys store unused purigen?

I've been using Purigen for over 5 years, and I can't find fault with Seachem's explanation.
Makes sense to me.
