I'm am new to live plants. I currently have a 29 gallon with low light plants. I have just upgraded lights to a finnex planted+ and plan to more heavily plant my tank out, adding in some medium light plants. My substrate is a fine gravel; not a nutritive substrate.

Since I have changed things up and am adding more, I wanted to check to be sure my ferts plan is appropriate. I am doing 50% WC weekly. I am currently dosing PPS-Pro daily (macros only) and metricide 14 daily. No pressurized CO2. I have been using flourish comprehensive once weekly for micros, only because I had purchased the bottle prior to learning about dry ferts. I do have CSM-B as it came with the dry ferts purchase.

My question in general is in regards to the entire plan; does it sound okay? More specifically, I wanted to be sure that I am getting enough micros or should I substitute or add daily CSM-B?

Thanks

The Flourish will give you all the needed nutrients of the other. But I am saying read up on what the Flourish recommends as doses and go by that till it runs out and then just use the other from then on.
The Flourish will give you a once a week dose to be used after that water change.
Do not exceed it because Micros are easier to over do than Macros.
I have two 10g tanks. I use the Flourish instead of Plantex or other Micro fert for the same reason...I had it first. Then I got dry ferts but not a package and didn't get
the Micro ferts part...yet. One of the tanks gets very light EI low light weekly doses
plus the Flourish and the other gets light EI low light weekly doses along/w the Flourish and Excel. This tank also gets Tetra Pride for iron. The other tank has lots of it already.
