Crystalwort dying

I have rescued a crystalwort in a petshop. It as sold cheap so I bought it. The riccia is almost pale colored, almost no green. I planted it in a medium lighted tank. Some leaves turn slightly green, but some are still pale. Will it survive? I dont want to lose this plant.

Are you floating it? That would be the easiest way to revive it.

No. I tied it to a rock. But now this morning. It sends small 4 new leaves in a bright green color. Is it thriving now?
