I was recently at a local aquarium club auction & purchased 3 lots of Crystal red shrimp.

The prices of the lots ranged from $14 - $24CDN for 5 shrimp per lot. I am not sure what grade they are but they are very pretty with great color.

Did I pay too much or is that a good deal??

Just wondering cause there is nobody else selling them up here. I am happy with them either way.

Depends on the grade if you got low grade then you got a decent deal. If higher grade then you got a real nice deal! Low grades go for around 5.00 each US

After doing much reading today & looking at them for a while I figure they are A grade with a few B. I will post pictures once I get them in their permanent tank setup.

So I just worked it out & I ended up paying $4.25CDN per shrimp. Not a great steal but pretty good considering how rare they are up here.

Nice deal you have there. Some people sell C grade shrimp for $5 canadian. Can't wait for you to breed these.
