Could anyone tell me anything about low light crypts? are they all low light?

I'm looking for something that can planted in the substrate directly, but is still low light since I have only been using a standard Marineland LED hood. Particularly Cryptocoryne wendtii.

Do they do well with C02?

I have a tank that is nothing but crypts with the exception of fissidens fontanus and a few giant Amazon Swords. I have what I consider low light. I would think there would not be many crypts you would not be able to grow fine with a marineland LED hood.

All crypts that I know benefit from CO2 however the lower the light the less necessary fertilizing and CO2 become. This being because your plants are not struggling for nutrients to keep up with the intense lighting.

Just because you don't need it doesn't mean you shouldn't have it.

CO2 will be beneficial to your plants regardless of light level. At low lights you can run it at much lower levels where there is no chance you could gas your fish.

I have no fish. It is a live plant only tank.

And I am going to be using Fluval Plant Stratum. Is this okay for Crypts?

Fluval Stratum is good with all plants
