My crypt wendtii green is still melting after being in my tank for 3 months. I also have crypt walkeri and crypt nurii in this same tank that are fine and growing. Why are they melting?
Many reasons. Pretty much most changes in the water parameters can cause them to melt. Makes sure you have root tabs in the substrate. Other than that, anything can happen (water changes, sudden temp shifts, and looking at them the wrong ways).
Not to my knowledge, I put root tabs under them every 2 months and there is no new growth on any of the plants. These are the only crypts I have problems with... I tried the crypt wendtii green a year ago, same thing happened...
