So as far as I can tell the only new thing that happened to my tank was I added roottabs. Is that enough to make some perfectly healthy crypts melt? They were growing great a month ago with a whole bunch of new growth and plantlets. Now tjeres barely any leaves
if they were placed too closely to the crypts, it could be that radical of a change to cause a melt. root tabs have been know to burn plants so it can be possible. They dissolve over time and should be distanced enough to allow roots to spread over to them. Also using too many in a tank can cause a similar effect.
I haven't moved them or done anything else to the tank. I only used maybe 3 or 4 root tabs for a 26 gallon. I am wondering if maybe I put them too close to the plants
