Depends alot on lighting, wendtii vars will grow much lower in high light. IME which is mostly emersed my bronze grows much bigger taller and wider leaves than the red or green.

I have seen all Wendtii varieties grow very large (Green, Brown/Bronze, Red/Mi Oya, Florida Sunset, Indonesia, Tropica, GG) and even the hybrids like Pink Flamingo get big. I've grown all emersed and submersed. They all grow larger submersed.

Mi Oya has the smallest leaf of all the varieties, followed by Florida Sunset.

My bronze also grew to be quite large. It may have been a different plant, but I thought it was a wendtii bronze. Most of my green grew to be thin and tall due to my low light. My red always seemed to stay pretty small and grew slowly.
