Is the Nurii demanding at all as far as lighting and ferts? I'd like to give it a try some time.

I might as well be the first to ask: what is involved in growing crypts from seed? Do you just place the seed in the substrate and wait or is there more to it? Do they germinate submersed?

nurii, like most crypt that i have had experience with, are relatively low maintance. I have had them in both HIGH tech and low tech and can see little difference in there overall health. The ONLY difference i can see is that in the high tech it seems to self propogate at a much faster rate. Within a few months in the high tech my "mother" nurii spit out 3 great "baby" nurii. I moved said "mother" into my low tech tank months ago and have yet to see another "offspring" pop out.



But, that is just MY experience.
