This is just a quick post for documentation. The day before yesterday I got a box with the Cryptocoryne cordata var. cordata listed by HoustonFishFanatic in Swap n Shop--pretty cool stuff. This is the smaller of the two divisions that he sent, potted up in a riparium planter with clay gravel and one tablespoon of MTS.

Pretty cool. I'm stoked to see what this one does.

This plant is just a young 'n right now. I hope it will grow up into a big robust specimen.

I put it into my 55-gallon tank. You can see it there at the far left.

D, glad to see the plant arrived in good shape. As it grows larger the under side should turn completely pink. I have maintained it about at about 80% humidity.

Thanks again for sending it. I had been watching out for C. cordata for a while and I'm glad to have it.

That's >90% humidity in that tank. The glass really fogs up and to get pictures I have to open the top, wipe the glass and mist the plants. It should be moist enough for it.
