I bought this at auction and it was only labeled as crypt long narrow leaf variety. lol

Anyway - I'm guessing it's either spiralis or a crispatula variety, but having not kept those particular species before, I'm at a bit of a loss, and there's no flower (nor hope of one for a very long time) to help out. Hoping someone can ID it though I know crypts can be tricky w/out the flower.

Spiralis doesn't stay much short really. O have had all of the them and my spiralis would reach 30" easily

@yakal Thanks for the offer but I think I'll just stick with this guy since I really don't have room for the spiralis too. Honestly this guy was a bit of an impulse buy from my liking of crypts more than anything else. lol

I think this is most likely a C. Balansae, but I have seen plants labelled Retrospiralis (actually Crispatula flaccidifolia) that look nearly identical.

@MissileBear Thank you! Another vote for balansae, so I think it's a definite on that one. At least that's what I'm going to call it. lol
