Out of the tap my gh is roughly 1-2 dgh. Would this be acceptable for breeding, or should i look to increase my gh. If so what should i purchase to increase my dgh? Thanks

Try fluval mineral supplement or mosura mineral plus to bring it to 5 or 6

yes i hear its better at 5dGH. my bowl is at the same low level of 1-2dGH and i wonder if I'll have better white coloration at 5dGH or more.

what about using seachem equilibrium? As I have fire red shrimp and my Gh is 3 with a Kh of 1. TDS is 155.

Really? It's what Albany Aquarium (which specializes in planted tanks) recommends. Do you mean it's terrible for shrimp?
