I just did a water change the day before my
2 CRS died. I bought 5 and they were doing great
for 2 days... now two are dead. I have no idea how
they died. They are co-existing with 7 Fire reds
that are doing great, 6 females berried! What
do you guys think happened, my parameters are
perfect, pH is 6.8. For molting issues, I think there
are none, my Fire reds molt perfectly fine.

Need a more detailed timeline. How long have you had them? How your post reads is you got them in, have had them two days, did a water change the day after you got them and the next day two died. If that's how it happened not only were they stress from shipping (whether by mail or from the store to your home), but they were introduced to new parameters then you did a water change and possibly altered the parameters again. If that's the case, stress would be the one thing I'd look at that would cause their death. Or premature molting due to change in parameters. And PFRs aren't CRS so even if PFRs are doing great, that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things when you are dealing with a different shrimp entirely. I've had OEBTs drop like flies while Supremes were berried and flourishing...doesn't matter.

So yeah, how long have you had them, how long did you acclimate them, how old were they when you got them, etc. We just need more info. And at the end of the day, sometimes shrimp just die...it happens

Just because your Fire Reds can molt in that water, it doesn't mean the CRS can. They do have different parameters and it's hard to find a common ground that makes both of them happy. If the CRS are older and don't molt often, I find they can take different water a bit better but as youngin's, they need more ideal water as they molt more often.

Also, probably shouldn't have done a water change after getting them only 2 days. They are stressed for about a week after changing water, being shipped, etc. I just 17 new yellow shrimp the other day, from 3 different sources. After acclimating them from 3 different waters to my tank, I put off this weeks water change so I don't stress them anymore. I got them Saturday and today is supposed to be water change day but I'll wait till next week as they are all going to be stressed from being packed up, moved around to my shrimp meet, sat there all day in a bag, ride home, acclimation to different water, if I changed today, I would probably have some dead ones.

Ok, I think I know what killed them. It was probably
the water change because I just checked the
temp for my tap and it was 50F....
But the good news is, I see them twitching their
legs... is that a good sign...? The ones I got were
from a local breeder, pickup, and they were 1-2cm.
I acclimated them for 1 1/2 hours. Can I save them somehow?
They are twitching their legs even more now...

I don't think there is a lot you can do. I don't think I've ever saved a shrimp that was on it's back twitching. By the time it's at that point, at least in my experience, it's over and just a matter of time. For a few people that knew it was a molting issue, they're been able to remove the molt for the shrimp, but in the cases of it being something else, there isn't much people have been able to do.

its legs are starting to move again. Just going
