Crossing Boesemani and Turquoise Rainbows? Anybody ever seen what they look like? I have a big male Boesemani spawning with what I thought was a male Turquoise, but maybe its a female after all - its coloring isn't as bright as a male Turq. I wonder if the offspring would just be a dull plain looking Rainbow, like Australian Rainbows?

I tend to agree that the Papua New Guinea fish are very colourful but think that Australia has some amazing and colourfu rainbows as well

You may benefit from posting an image on the Australian New Guinea Fisheries Association Forum they may be able to identify it for you http://forums.angfa.org.au/ theres some pretty good experts on there who may be able to help you identify it and answer your breeding question.

Ahh, what a great link!! Thankyou roud: My apologies to the comment on the Aussie Rainbows. I should know by now to never judge a fish by its color in a big box Fish store.
