So our awful little petstore in the mall got a blue crayfish in. I know I shouldn't, but I'm thinking about a pity buy...
I'm wondering if there is such a thing as having water that is too hard for these guys. Our tap comes out at a pH of 8.2, kH and gH in the mid 20s. I know shrimp can have a hard time molting if the water is too hard, because they can't escape their exoskeletons, but I can't seem to find if the same is true for crayfish or not. Does anybody know??
