Ahaha I just noticed it when I was prepping it for my tank. It has a distinct odor I thought maybe it was the water it came in so I acclimated it slowly until it was all tank water. It was fine at first then gradually he stank up the water again!! It's sort of like a fishy smell. So I changed the water again and I'm going to see if it smells again tomorrow. He seriously stank up my qt tank.

Smelly fish, smelly fish, what are they feeding youuuuu

Sorry I couldn't resist... going to bed now...
Lol you could actually keep the original lyrics since its a cory cat.

Many Corydoras release a toxin during times of stress. A lot of suppliers ship cories in separate bags because of this. Besides killing other fish in the bag it can become toxic to the single cory if enough is released. This toxin can also cloud the water. It's possible this is what you've been smelling. Shipping and acclimation to a new tank are quite stressful.
I think Zorfox is right. I've never smelled this smell before and it's not exactly fishy but you wouldn't want your tank smelling like it. I'm going to take another wiff when I get home. Hes still in QT.
