Coralife at Petco

I picked up a Coralife Colormax T5 39W 36" bulb at Petco for $3.00. It was marked down to $6.00 but for some reason the person at the register range it up at $3.00.
Are these any good?

Can't go wrong at $3 a bulb. My spirals cost more

I think what was happening is that Petco is no longer carrying Coralife lights? The one near me only stocks Zoomed now.

True. They have been clearing out all Coralife products over the last few months.

I find it amusing that the local Petco is trying to clearance a Coralife 24" T5HO fixture for $125.00 when right next to it is a ZooMed 24" T5HO fixture for $65.00 normal price.
