coralife 30'' aqualight mounting legs

I just set up a 20 gal long with floating plants covering much of the surface. light I'm using is a coralife 30'' freshwater aqualight single strip.

right now, the fixture rests on a glass top, so the plants in the front half don't get much of the light. so I'm looking for mounting legs that're durable and compatible with the fixture.

I read that the clear legs are brittle and the black aqualight pro legs are not much better. are there mounting legs from other brands that fit, or any diy ideas to elevate the light?
