So about a month or two ago I bought a ball of moss from Aqua Forest. And recently on the floor of my tank I've noticed coral moss growing from nowhere? (No, it's not algae). I've never seen coral moss for sale in any pet shops, so it kind of makes me curious. What's your knowledge on coral moss, is it rare?

It's commonly known as mini pellia. Easier to find now but it was a lot rarer a few years back. Easy to grow from low to high light and it appreciates cool, clean water from what I've experienced. It easily attaches to wood and rock after a while so you can form a nice scape with it. Small pieces will grow almost anywhere and you can end up with a decent amount after a while. It's scientific name is Riccardia chamedryfolia.
