Cool Neocaridina Hybrid

By accident, I got this cool hybrid, Blue Pearl gave birth to these, just a guess that it probably crossed with a brown sakura that I have. There are a few of them really dark in color, some reverted back to wild, but this one is almost black.
Sorry the image isn't that sharp, capturing it from my cell.

Chocolate sakuras can throw dark as well. For instance, I've selectively bred mine to continually produce the darker versions. :)

Really! I'm surprised that hybrids can be that nice too! I think I'll be getting more chocolate sakuras to cross! Lol. I only have one in my tank.
rili x blue diamond give off black neo. i know because thats what happened with mines haha

Which type of rili, blue, red, orange or carbon?

Were all your offspring black?

80% black. Some in lighter shades of black, 2 were glossy black and perhaps a couple of them is wild.

Then I think its good to pass on this knowledge, as not many knows
that crossings could throw out blacks. For those who may like black neos or sakura, mine is not dull black, rather glossy black, you may want to give it a shot? :)
red rili, most of them black but few wild.
Got some babies but some look dark, others still transparent. Kinda weird though...

Wonder what kind of hybrid if crossed Yellow Neo x Red cherry?
This is an experimentation and I was expected orange neo...

You may get wild cherry, genetics and paint are not the same.

Wouldn't that be nice and easy!!
Yellow and cherry do not cross well. Almost all will be wild. A few of the offspring my throw unimpressive cherries in future generations, but you'll have to breed the red back in.
True! I noticed mine look wild, some is transparent weirdo. :icon_conf

Then if I keep them breed together Wild x Wild and/or Wild x Yellow what would I get in F2?

I'm not a shrimp geneticist, but I bet you would get some wild, some cherry and some yellow. But again, I expect it would take several generations of breeding the same color offspring to get the colors to darken again.
