I have a 15 Gallon aquarium That is currently SW Reef. I am going to be upgrading to a larger aquarium. I would like to make it into a planted tank. It has a 430 Icecap Ballast. I have 4 new URI Aqua sun 10000 Kelvin 18" VHO bulbs. They are 30 watts. The tank is only 12" deep. That would be about 8 watts per gallon. Is this usable? Should I rewire it for only 2 bulbs or maybe switch to NO bulbs? Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

I'd go with 2 bulbs for now. You won't have to switch bulbs since that's an extra cost...just two bulbs if you're planning on going with injected CO2. 1 bulb if you don't plan on using injected CO2 but another form, ie: Excel.
