I've been working with unchelated micros for around 6 months now but decided to make up some concentrated stock solutions due to a lack of a scale that was accurate to milligrams. I ended up adding 1g of each micro to 100ml of distilled water and a little ascorbic acid and have stored it in airtight bottles. When I make up my ferts, I pull the desired amount out of each bottle and add it to my dosing container.

But I've noticed that these solutions have gone from colourless to brown over time and I'm wondering if they're still effective.

For anyone doing the same, have you noticed this change in colour and would you still consider these solutions usable?
