Hi there,

I have a 20 gal long aquarium, that I bought used. It came with a light with the following written on it:

Bulb: 24"/61cm 20 w T8 Power-Glo

Fixture: Fluorescent Solar Series 120V 60Hz 0.35a F20W Type T8

I'm wanting to do a low light aquarium and I have absolutely no clue if this bulb is at all suitable. If it is great, if not, some recommendations for a replacement would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm 20 watt T8 power-glo, eh? That would definitely be enough for a low-medium light plants to grow. Java ferns, anubias, crypts would do well. Dwarf sag would be okay too.
