wow I honestly don't know about that particular rainbow's demeanor or ultimately the size of its mouth but with fish its a single golden rule.
If you fit in my mouth then you are food
I don't know if you want to toy with that depending on what you pay for your fish.

I would think so. Both of those fish are pretty peaceful schoolers, so I don't see why they wouldn't be compatible. As long as the furcatus can't fit in the mouth of the lacustis, then you should be good... and most rainbowfish are known for having smaller mouths/throats for their size.
