so i happened to see a nano paludarium setup at my LFS today and saw a 'plant' that i really liked! the first thing that came to me was a nano palm tree! inside a fish tank! when i asked the owner what the plant was, he told me it was a common pond plant, named blue bell.... i googled it and... no. not it.

so.. any of the experts know of a common pond plant, small enough to be a palm tree look-a-like? i may try to go tomorrow morning to take a photo but.. it may have to wait till next weekend if they're not open early enough tomorrow morning.

Was it a grasslike plant? Like cyperus gracilis or cyperus papyrus?

maybe some kind of dracaena?
i have seen people try to use them in tanks before.
