Notice of meeting of the Colorado Aquarium Society, Friday, November 14th !
Note one time change of meeting date from first Friday to Second Friday!
Friday, November 14th, 7:30 at the First Universalist Church of Denver, 4101 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO, on the N.E corner of Hampden Ave. and Colorado Boulevard. If you enjoy the aquarium hobby, want to learn more about your fish and you want to have access to new species and new varieties, join us once a month for a very fishy experience. Non-members, visitors and guests are always welcome.
  • Our speaker will be Dr. Queston, DVM, CetAqV. Dr. Q focuses on the practice of Aquatic Medicine. She will be presenting an informal discussion with DrQ, a day in the life of a fish vet, and a little about the CertAqV program, offered through the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association. Bring your questions and problems for discussion.
  • We will also have an election of officers and directors for 2015.
  • We will have a mini auction of fish, plants and other fish related items.
  • Our Bowl Show categories for November will be: Catfish, all catfish not previously shown, Upside-down Cats, Glass Cats, Pimelodus, Electric and Plecostomus. Also Anabantoids, Gouramis, Paradise fish, Climbing Perch and Bettas other than Betta Splendens. See prize winning fish! Win some prizes yourself.
Upcoming Fishy Events: Mark your calendars so you don't miss out!
  • Saturday, December 6th Colorado Aquarium Society Christmas Party at Cinzettis. Good food and fishy conversation. Make your reservations now. Bring a gift for a gift exchange. There will be prizes, awards and entertainment! No separate Dec meeting. See you on January 2nd.
  • November 16th, 2:00, Meeting of Rocky Mountain Killifish Assoc. This meeting will be in Castle Rock. Ask for address and directions.
