Hi everyone!:laugh2:
I have a ten gallon tank and recently added one cherry shrimp n one red rili shrimp....both females. The red rili was carrying eggs...i got her into a breeder box and she had 25 shrimplets two weeks back - The babies are growing but they are still 1/2 centimeter and I cant tell the color,...as of now they appear to be clear with a brown patch on the neck. Has anyone had baby rili shrimp before...i do not know who the father is LOL!!:grin2:since she came berried from a tank full of red variety of shrimp....please help...thanks!

From my understanding, the rili trait is dominant, so even if she bred with a non-rili color, the offspring should still look like rili's, even if of a lower quality.

It can take two or more weeks for the babies to start coloring up, so just have some patience! :)
