So...*deep breath* Is the ACC hot this year or what? Anyone seen FSU-Miami? Or GT-Clemson? Fun stuff...
I am a BYU alum. so I am all about the Mountain West Conference. I love seeing 3 MWC teams in the top 25 constantly for the last few years. Better than some of the BCS conferences.
I'm an SEC fan, born and raised GATOR fan. I'm hoping for a repeat of last season, but I'm a little worried about the computer rankings with strength of schedule. This season is a considerably easier schedule than last year.
well syracuse is in a rebulding phase so were not expecting much but it would be great to win a few and not get blown out this year by any one

Go SYRACUSE
My schools are Washington State and Portland State, so my life is hell. ;) But I think it is great that there is a shift in strength away from the traditional power conference towards the smaller ones. BYU and Boise State are great examples. Yesterday, Toledo kicked the living crap out of an abyssmal Colorado team. Hopefully, this does not result in a dozen conferences totally dominated by a single time year in, year out. We have this in the PAC-10 obviously, and it sucks.
That's why I like the SEC. Whether you win or lose, every game is a physical battle with several rivalries. Even our mediocre teams can still give many teams around the country a hard time.
Yeah...I like the Gators a lot. My wife grew up in Gainesville, and I've been there often. Someday, I'll take a couple of classes from UF and slap a Gater bumper sticker on my car.

The downside of a powerful conference is the media attention (some is nice - a lot is annoying) and the huge amount of idiotic fans who get too used to winning and start bitching when they lose two or three games. While I enjoy a good game between two excellent teams, the SEC and some other BCS conferences (including the PAC-10) are a little too NFL-like for my taste.

People watch the WSU games? Just kidding I'm a student so I went to the Stanford game and was glad to see the offense be able to play decently, now if the defense could just wrap up. I prefer our Womens Volleyball and Soccer teams since it's rarely a blowout and very likely a great game to watch.
Well, after yesterday's game, we should probably hide until the season is over. ;)
I'm a Purdue fan. I just want to curl up into a ball and be buried in the backyard after last night's game. I don't want to take anything away from the Oregon Ducks, but they would have been blown out if Purdue didn't hand that game to them. After last year's near loss in overtime, they needed that win last night.

I hate college football.
Well first I will start with Iowa. We are returning after lossing the #1 Running Back in the nation last year. Yes this is true Shone Green after is Jr. year at decided to leave and head on over to the NY Jets. Well now we have Hampton and ah player is down yep out for the season tore his knee all up in practice. So now we got this red shirt freshmen that played yesterday and hit over 100 yards. Now we have a great QB his Jr. year. We blew out Iowa St. yesterday.

Now on to Ohio St and USC alll I can say is USC got so damn lucky. I know it been like 200 years since a Big 10 team has beat USC and man I thought last night was the night. But USC pulled some tricky plays and pulled it off.
WOW
I don't know what play was better tonight.
Alabama blocking Tennessee's last second field goal or Iowa on 4th and goal with 2 seconds on the clock to take the win with a touchdown.

Well I say my Hawkeye's. They already blocked not 1 but 2 field goals to take the win over UNI this season in the final seconds. Went to the whitehouse to take out Penn St.

Like the coach said "We are not the pretty car on the lot but we get the job done"
