Hello-

I currently am cycling this 2.5 gallon coldwater tank. It stays at about 68-70 F.

I will be adding a Red Sea Deco Art Nano Filter sometime in the near future. So, I am trying to decide what to stock it with. Just a pair or maybe three on the small side is all I want. Can you guys help me pick?

Some possible fish I have come up with already:

-Danios
-Rosy Red Minnows
-Fathead Minnows
-White Clouds

No scientific name necessary, haha!

Shrimp love cold water. CRS, CBS and RCS are all good choices.

I have 3 of these tanks sitting around. For some reason I never thought to use them as another shrimp tank. Thanks for the inspiration. You should do shrimp. Something that stays really small...

Im setting up a 2.5 also and im doing shrimps only. CRS/CBS would do great in there.

The crystals love cold water, but at 2.5 gallons how are you going to mitigate water changes and water parameter fluctuations? RCS would be a better idea.

I didn't realize shrimp would do well at cold temps, i def want a small shrimp tank I can just leave alone.
