Here are some pics of my new Hammer's Cobalt Blue Lobster. They are also the first pics of my tank ever uploaded on these forums.

He's made his new home in the slate that I dropped in today. Came out just for the pics, has been in ever since

Anyone know how to clean my glass without draining the tank and using chemicals? Thats why they're a bit blurry.
Looks tast.. i mean lovely ^^ I don't know if those are hard water stains or what on the glass but i just take a paper towel and wipe down the inside and windex the outside (spray onto the papertowel (while away from the tank) and never clean outside outside unless i am all done in the tank)

I bought the tank out of a garage and had to fill it immediately for use as an emergency quarantine. I don't really know what it is. I've already tried a paper towel. Maybe I need something more abrasive? It is glass.

Hard water would make sense. We're all on wells out here with a tap hardness of nearly 20 - but man it is really stuck on. You wipe it down, it appears clean, and 10 minutes later its cloudy again.

The paper towel comes up dark brown.
they make scrapers for tanks to clean algae. old credit/debit cards work wonders too to scrape off gunk. also dont plan on those plants lasting to long.
I find that vinegar works for hard water stains
Second the vinegar. It works really well.

Day5FishTanks. Any other native YouTubers on here?
Steel woll and a sterile paint scraper worked fantastic.

And I swear I saw my clown pleco swimming midlevel to eat the brown algae that came off the glass.
