So I found a small coated stranded wire hanging kit in the box of my new hagen GLO fixture. Since I have the light fixture mounted right on top of the aquarium I figured I would use the kit to hang my bird feeders. What an amazing result!! You cannot see the thin stranded wire, it is almost as if the bird feeders are floating.

My question is this.. Is anyone familiar with the size/gauge of the wire kit that comes with the hagen GLO kit? The reason I ask is I want to hang some more items around the house and cant find this tiny gauge anywhere (home depot lowes etc).

I don't know the size of that particular product but if you have a set of calipers, you can measure the outside diameter of the wire.

It is also known as vinyl coated wire rope or aircraft cable.

Thank you! I looked on Ebay and found several sizes available. Now I need to go get a set of calipers.
