Yes, I have a 20lb CO2 bottle to run the calcium reactor (calcium based sand in low pH water = dissolved calcium and alk which corals eat up). Into the tank? No way, you're trying to maintain a pH of 8.0-8.2

nobody in the saltwater tank needs CO2 anyways unless you're growing algae, kelp, seaweed.

...or running a Ca reactor like the previous poster said. I unloaded a bunch of CO2 cylinders to reefers looking to buy a Ca reactor. =P

Generally, no. You hardly ever have a high-pH problem unless your kalk drip has gone crazy (and then calcium carbonate simply falls out of solution and makes really expensive sand).

And I know of no one that wants to lower the pH in a saltwater tank. Most of the SW people are trying to keep it up.
