CO2 Tabs? What are they?

I found this the other day:

CO2 Tabs

Any idea what they are?
Has anyone tried these?
I can't imagine using these in my tanks without actually knowing what they are composed of.
Not to mention they are seriously expensive unless you have a very small tank (5 gal or less).

Looks like a scam as the reviews are all fake.

It either does nothing or is a citric acid + baking soda type combination which will alter your water parameters. Even if it does produce actual CO2, it will only last for a few hours which achieves nothing.

I'm not sure I'd say they're all fake, just because half of them say they were paid to try them out. Though it's clear no reviews have been left by anyone with all that much experience with planted tanks.

I particularly like the reviewer that states they're a way to add carbon monoxide. lol
