Hi,

My drop checker is slowly turning from green to yellow, because my DIY CO2 is finally functioning properly.

I have otos, angelfish, cories, and neon tetras, how sensitive are they going to be to this?

I increased my photoperiod from 6 to 8 hours thinking that they plants will use more CO2.

How soon will my fish become sick, or will their lives be threatened?

They should be fine unless you see them gasping at the top of the tank I wouldn't be worried. Extra C02 isn't going to hurt them unless you get crazy and I doubt a diy rig is going to get you that nuts.

You could run a air line in the tank at night when the lights are off (no need for c02 then) to help them oxygenate better.
