Hi, I have just purchased a CO2 Art Pro Series dual stage regulator, inline diffuser, check valve and hose. Having fitted everything I ran the CO2 for 1 hour and then measured the pH and kH to check the CO2 content, also installed a pH checker in the tank. I have a ADA 60-P tank with a Oase BioMaster Thermo 250. I am running a operating pressure of 40psi and 1 bubble per second. I can see the CO2 is building up in the inline diffuser since it’s bubbled up and looks frosted however I can see lots of micro bubbles in the bubble counter which doesn’t look right, is this normal or is my operating pressure too low? I have just increased it to 50psi. I’m concerned the CO2 isn’t getting through the diffuser fast enough and there’s a build up of CO2 happening upstream in the bubble counter. Any input deeply appreciated.
Kind regards Stuart
